Big comfortable booths, friendly service, good Italian food ~ what more could you as for? The only drawback is that prices are a bit on the higher side.
I have eaten at this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. Each time we have people in from out of town, we know it's always "safe" to bring them to Biaggi's for some great Italian food. We even had a dinner there a few years ago when my Dad passed away, just to have a nice meal with close family was very nice. Highly recommend them!!
19 years ago my wife and I dined at Biaggi's as our "honeymoon dinner" because at the time it was one of the newest restaurants in the region and we are big fans of Italian food. Over the years, we've infrequently returned because it never really felt like it kept up with the quality in service and food we first experienced. But recently we met some family there for a random dinner, and my faith was renewed! While the atmosphere is a bit of a time capsule, it's generally holding up well, and the menu is full of flavorful, well prepared dishes, that accommodated everyone's dietary concerns. I was pleasantly surprised, and look forward to coming back!
You ever walk into a restaurant and think immediately you can't afford it?? Very clean with Roman columns and all sorts of beautiful decorations. So I grabbed a menu and was very pleased with their prices. The food and drinks were very good!! Will go again...
The service from Kiki was exceptional! My house salad was wonderful, as usual. My husband got the Cajun Pasta and we ordered desserts to go. My only complaint was watching the other waitress wipe the tables liquid on the floor and leave it, this isn't a fast food joint.... Get a restaurant broom & dustpan and at least look like you made an effort to clean the carpet/floor. The cocktail menu looks like a good list of drinks, however, I am allergic to lemons and limes ( now that shouldn't be a restaurants issue) and all of the 14 cocktails, except 1, has either Lemon, Line or Orange in it.... Give me a break. I did find the one I could enjoy and that is pictured below. Get creative mixologist! There many wonderful drinks without Citrus. Too, initially the bread was ice cold but Kiki took care of it and brought us hot bread! We always love Biaggis, especially when traveling.
Here for Christmas Eve and it was a nice experience. I thought the food was pretty decent for the price point. The Italian salsa that came with our calamari was incredible. I ordered extra for my bread. The lemon chicken was a huge portion- not sure why I did lemon as I don't usually like that flavor profile- only order if you like lemon as it is very citrus forward. Overall, I'd come here again. One thing about the ambiance- not the lighting is bright. This is not a romantic dinner setting!
Very nice restaurant! Bright, nicely decorated. Food was good. Service was great. A great neighborhood place for a nice meal.
